– Result: Secured a comprehensive data set that serves as the basis for predictive modeling with regular updates.
Step 2: Data Processing and Refinement

Objective: Transform raw data into a refined, usable format.
– Actions: Implemented automated quality assurance (QA) processes to clean, identify errors, and create new variables, focusing initially on one market (e.g., gold). The workflow easily scales to handle up to 50 major markets.
– Result: Creates streamlined, high-quality data sets ready for analysis, minimizing unnecessary or duplicate files.
Step 3: Initial Regression Modeling
February 2025
– Objective: Apply foundational statistical modeling as a benchmark for predictions.
– Actions: Developed linear regression models, starting with gold, and validated these models across a 15-year dataset (12 years for training, 3 for testing).
– Result: Establishing basic predictive models to assess patterns and trends as groundwork for more advanced methods.

– Objective: Build a comprehensive set of prediction variables and rigorous evaluation of existing ones.
